The Flax Season is here.

Nike Flax Collection – Fall Into It

Every season comes with its appropriate aesthetics. The months of shorts, tank tops, and sunglasses have left some of us so quickly that we hardly noticed it. But, it’s all good. With every change in the weather comes a new opportunity to stunt. Nike’s seasonal releases are usually pretty on point, but there might not be a more universally hyped color scheme than the vaunted Flax look. The Swoosh drops some serious heat in these colder days, hitting us with a colorway that is, let’s be honest, appropriate for all seasons.

The Flax or Wheat look adorns some of the most recognizable Nike models to date. In this collection, we see the motif expressed in some quality materials as well. The colorway is the same for each of the models listed, but is executed uniquely from pair to pair. The Air Max 1 takes on some furry suede as an overlay. Meanwhile, the Air More Uptempo’s lush leather base and perforations look like fresh car seats.

Of course, we also see staples such as the Air Force 1 High, straps and all, with its usual shape and impressive stitch detailing. The rest of the collection includes the Air Max 90 Ultra 2.0 LTR, the Air Footscape Woven, and Air Force Max, Air Max 95 Sneakerboot, Air Max 1, Air Huarache, and the Air Woven Boot. To say the least, you’ve got options here. You can go to any of these pieces in your rotation whenever you happen to be throwing on some denim for the day.

Each of these models is an eye-opening execution of a colorway that has become iconic. It’s also convenient, as you don’t need bulky footwear for this boot-like aesthetic. Nike’s latest collection is enough proof that you don’t need to be stomping down Brooklyn in some Timbs to flex in some Flax.
