The latest Nike x Kim Jones collaboration result is this Nike Air Max 95. Speaking on the project, Kim Jones said, “This latest capsule celebrates one of my favorite Nike shoes, the Air Max 95, by looking at the way it could be addressed with modern technology.”
The collaborative Air Max 95 features upper panels that are said to draw inspiration from the human anatomy. Decorating these gray areas is a series of black Morse code-like dots and dashes, while bright orange or Volt eye stays provide pops of color underneath the dark-colored webbing. Additional orange/Volt accents appear via the Air Max branding on the tongue, as black Swooshes brand the pair at the toe and heel, just above Kim Jones' name. Reflective silver accents draw further attention to the Air Max 95, which also features orange/Volt shading within the Max Air units. The shoe is then finished with a translucent outsole.
