Kicki Yang Zhang is a Berlin-based artist and content creator. Growing up between Shanghai and Germany, she felt the duality of the two cultures in her daily life from an early age. The campaign shoot takes inspiration from ASICS' slogan, "Sound Mind, Sound Body," and interprets it in two ways: The first concept features Kicki finding her balance and trusting herself. The second showcases Kicki in her ultimate form: free and effortlessly floating, defying gravity as if its rules don't apply when you reach your full potential. Both concepts highlight the duality of Kicki and her shoe designs. Visually, the results blend ASICS' core message of movement with Kicki's high-fashion aesthetic, creating a captivating new world for the brand.
